Enthusiasm in preparation is as vital as racing and rallying. As a certified “anorak” I like to unbolt, analyse and rebuild. A classic car of any vintage should be impeccably prepared. Credibility comes from oily fingers and overalls. Quirky tuning is everything. As a Sixties fan (Lotus, MG, BMW...) I’m a strong believer that cars are intended for long races, rallies and trips, not for urban chores. Vintage push bikes are faster.
