The BMW 3.0 CSI was introduced in 1971 so I’m assuming this press shot dates from the same year. However it was a full TWO YEARS before Björn & Benny, Agnetha & Anni-Frid achieved worldwide fame and commercial success with the release of “Ring Ring”. There is therefore no credible explanation for what at first appears to be an innocent photograph, but cannot be anything of the sort.

As internet conspiracies go it’s a minor one, but there’s something we’re not being told here, people…
