Boy, thats for sure…
Had/have a buddy who was/is quite the Mustang afficionado. We worked together at a parts store during college. Whe we would get a customer come in and ask for a part for a 75 [or whatever year] Mustang, he would say , as he was beginning to look the number up, ‘OK… [part] for a 75 Pinto.’ When the ciustomer would ‘correct’ him and say ‘no, thats a 75 Mustang II’ , he would reply, looking them straight in the eye and say ‘thats what I said – 75 Pinto.’

Ha! While I’m sure those poor ~~Pinto~~… Mustang II owners were less than amused with your buddy, that is indeed quite hilarious… :-)
