This weekend, the London Classic Car Show is being held at the ExCel exhibition center in the Docklands of London. ViaRETRO was there on the Friday.
We’ll start off with a small selection of teaser pictures of various delicious classics on display. This is merely a taster, as the selection is both vast and hugely varied. Besides all the expected stands from car clubs, dealers, specialists and more, there’s also a themed exhibition this year of Getaway Cars. Of course, what really makes the London Classic Car Show stand out, has always been the brilliant Grand Avenue, where you get to experience the classic cars in motion. To my knowledge, this is a concept unrivalled by other classic car exhibitions. Even if you weren’t planning on going this year, it’s not too late! – You can still make an impromptu visit tomorrow, before the exhibition comes to an end Sunday evening. If you do, make sure to drop by the Supagard Theatre where there among others will be talks with the lovely Vicki Butler-Henderson and not least MBE Nigel Mansell of F1 fame.
