HaHaHa… I sense that my worries regarding which car to drive as a daily is being somewhat ridiculed here… :-) To me it’s a very serious matter though leading to both many sleepless nights and greying […]

@niels-v, now here’s a man who knows his vintage motors! ;-)
And to be honest, I agree with you Niels. I’ll have mine in a two-tone Riley Kestral 6 light please… -
Anders Bilidt commented on the post, Topless! – or not? 7 years, 9 months ago
Well isn’t that amusing. I figured there would be some who would agree with me, but on the whole I do sense that there is a very large portion of classic car enthusiasts who have devoted themselves to the […]

@yrhmblhst, yes, those are indeed the factory-fitted Avon Safety alloy wheels for the HP Firenza. Only, I don’t believe they ever came with a gold center from Vauxhall.

Results are now official on ACA’s website. Amazingly, the Jensen Healey sold for a very low £ 3,286 including premium. Of course, the bidders will have had the chance to inspect the car, so maybe they know […]

Yes I confess, I am but a simple man, and therefore – almost by default – I have a profound appreciation for pretty much all things topless. Ah! But this is of course ViaRETRO and the topic is classic cars. Well […]

Well there you have it Ladies and Gentlemen… @yrhmblhst has spoken, and as he has owned both engines that’s probably as unbiased a verdict on the Alfa Romeo Nord twincam versus the Lotus-Ford twincam as you’ll […]

Ouuuuu… there’s much to drool over here!
Favourites of mine have to be the glorious Volga – hmmm… I wonder what the driving experience is like? – and not least that sexy little Datsun Fairlady, which is […]

Ouuuuu… @soren-navntoft, I do indeed think you have us all well and truly beaten there! Ouch, must have really hurt having to confess to that one…
@dave-leadbetter, hehehe… love the tuna-headlamp-repair… :-)

So Porsche it is. And yes @claus-ebberfeld, a brown 924 Turbo with brown Pascha would do quite nicely too if one were to come my way before an early 944 did… ;-)

Claus, there is indeed an almost magical aura to the twincam engine – any twincam engine. I’m a BIG fan, and always have been. I suppose it’s kind of ironic I say that when I currently don’t own one myself, but […]

I was getting worried that I might be the only one with feelings for Pascha, seeing as no one else had felt the need for leaving a comment. Thx @yrhmblhst… :-)
It is funny though, how I absolutely adore […]

Yes indeed @tony-wawryk, the 1st gen. MR2 is a proper contender in this budget 2-seater market too. Granted, it lacks a little if you’re after wind-in-hair motoring, as the closest you will get to this is the […]

@claus-ebberfeld, You are of course right. I too would prefer the Jensen Healey over the Scimitar SS1. It’s older, radiates more of a ‘classic’ vibe, and you get a twincam in the deal too. The results aren’t […]

Hmmmm… well, I can hardly claim that the Scimitar SS1 has always been the car of my dreams. Still, I do remember when it was first launched. Back then the lines were really quite refreshing and sharp, and I […]
