In 1970 the pictured couple drove their VW-Porsche 914 up the Stelvio pass and parked for a while, trying to to reach clarity whether the shape really was modern, visually challenged, funky or whatever. According to myth they were still there when the oil crisis hit. At that point the car was starting to rust a bit.
